Dear Colleagues,
Earlier this month the Bush administration announced that it will begin immediate implementation of the Patient Privacy Rule under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This will give patients greater access to their own medical records and more control over how their personal information is used. Below you will find information on how this rule will impact the delivery of behavioral health care.
