Dear Colleagues,
According to the NIMH, anxiety disorders affect an estimated 13
percent of children and adolescents during any given six-month
period of time. The NIMH recently announced the results of a study
that found a medication to be more than twice as effective as a
placebo in treating anxiety in children and adolescents. Today's newsletter
focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders in
both children and adults.
