According to National Institute of Mental Health statistics, nearly one-quarter of U.S. adults will suffer from an anxiety disorder. To help educate the public about anxiety disorders and available treatments, Freedom From Fear, a national mental health advocacy association, has planned National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day for May 5, 1999. Information about this screening program is included in the resources listed below.
