Dear Colleagues,
PTSD is a common disorder that not only affects combat veterans but is prevalent in the civilian population as well. Traumatic events often associated with PTSD include combat exposure, violent crime, sexual assault, child abuse and neglect, disaster, medical illness, and automobile accidents. Today's newsletter provides resources that address diagnosis and treatment issues.
