Dear Colleagues,

In the US, studies indicate that 5 percent of students in the public schools have a learning disorder. Children with learning disabilities may be eligible for special education and related services under the Individuals with Disabilities Act. The Act requires that an Individual Education Program (IEP) be created to meet the child's educational needs. Today's newsletter focuses on issues related to learning disorders and other school problems.
